Markdown tips
OSPREY uses standard Markdown for project descriptions, wiki pages, and use-report narratives. This page covers the bits I find myself looking up most often.
Basics
# Heading 1
## Heading 2
A paragraph with **bold**, *italic*, and `inline code`.
- bullet
- another bullet
- nested
1. numbered
2. list
[link text](https://example.org)
> a blockquote
```python
print("fenced code with a language tag")
```
Images
Upload images to OSPREY. Paste or drop an image into the README, or use Insert image under it. OSPREY adds the Markdown for you:

Images linked from other sites aren't shown in the README.
Tables
| Sensor | Range | Notes |
| ------ | ------ | ------------ |
| CO2 | 400-2k | NDIR |
| O2 | 0-25% | electrochem |
What is allowed
OSPREY's renderer allows the standard Markdown set plus external
http(s) image URLs. Raw HTML is stripped. If something
you expected to render did not, that is probably why.
